Jake Thompson, owner
Meet Jake Thompson
Jake learned the basics of vehicle work with his dad as a kid. He served in the U.S. Army from 2010 to 2016, working on Humvees, LMTVs, diesel equipment, and generators in fleet-style maintenance environments.
After the Army he worked his way up through dealerships and independent shops, with Ford, Dodge, and Toyota training along the way. Across roughly a decade he kept seeing the same problems: customers who could never talk to the person working on their vehicle, unclear diagnostic charges, slow timelines, and repairs driven by sales goals.
Thompson Auto is his answer: honest recommendations, fair pricing, clear communication, and quality work. He will tell you plainly when a repair can wait, or when it is not worth doing on an older vehicle. Most of his business comes from repeat customers and referrals, and that only works by earning trust on every job.

Common questions
Do you come to my home or workplace?
Yes. Jake needs safe, legal access to the vehicle and enough room to work.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
Quick visual checks and guidance may be free when practical. Longer diagnostics or testing may carry a fee. You will know the cost before work begins.
What vehicles do you work on?
Passenger cars, daily drivers, light trucks, and light duty business vehicles. Jake does not service semis, heavy equipment, RVs, boats, or motorcycles, and does not do engine or transmission replacements.
Can you review a quote I already have?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people call. Text the quote and the symptoms.
How do I pay?
Options may include cash, check, Venmo, or card, depending on the job. Payment details are confirmed before work begins.
Do you warranty your work?
Jake stands behind his work. If there is a problem with a part or repair, he will explain it clearly and work to make it right. Part warranties depend on the supplier or manufacturer.
